From Street Lit to Film Deal: Relentless Aaron Keynotes The Essence of Motown Literary Conference

Recognized by Publisher’s Weekly as a “street lit phenomenon” and by ABC World News as “a one-man-marketing machine,” Relentless maintains a healthy blog that always informs and teaches the ins and outs of the publishing industry from a self-publishing perspective, as well as from the vantage point of one author who has created a brand that has been well-received and has earned global status.

The evolution of Relentless Aaron began in his late teens, when he began promoting concerts with Russell Simmons and Tiny Wood, to name a few.

Organizing concert venues, stage/sound/lights, street promotion campaigns and direction overall has gave Relentless the grass-roots tools to move into more traditional operations such as producing and directing The Westchester Talent Competition for 2 years, as well as he built two nightclubs—Fool’s Paradise, in the Bronx & G-Strings in Westchester—before eventually launching SuperStar USA.  Already accustomed to coming up with unheard-of accomplishments, the 20-something went on to produce the SuperStar USA TV Show, a one-hour, weekly variety show that featured videos, live performances and exclusive interviews with the entertainment industry’s biggest stars.

He then crafted a free magazine called “The SuperStar” which road side-by-side with the TV content that was broadcasted in 2 million homes throughout the tri-state area and beyond.

Relentless Aaron’s past experiences, his industry connectivity, his marketing magic and his long list of properties has earned him more than normal acknowledgement in International publications such as The New York TimesTIME magazine and on television and radio, to put it lightly.

He was named “Author of The Year” at the 2007 Book Expo America (AfAm Pavillion), as well as he has earned honors from local organizations including the Beta Alpha Alpha Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc, as well as the Mount Vernon Public Library and the Leak & Watts school where Relentless periodically shares his theories, methods and progress with disadvantaged youth.

Relentless Aaron’s published works include, PUSH (St. Martin’s Press/Griffin),TRIPLE THREAT (SMP/Griffin), PLATINUM DOLLS (Relentless, LLC), RAPPERS ‘R IN DANGER (Relentless, LLC), THE LAST KINGPIN (SMP/Griffin), SEEMS LIKE YOU’RE READY (SMP/Griffin), SUGAR DADDY (SMP/Griffin), TOPLESS, TO LIVE & DIE IN HARLEM (SMP/Griffin), EXTRA MARITAL AFFAIRS (SMP), LADY FIRST(SMP), DERELICT (G-UNIT), and SINGLE WITH BENEFITS (SMP), releasing in October of this year.

Relentless currently serves on the board of directors for The Harlem Book Fair, he is a contributor to This Is 50.com website, and Andrew Morrison’s Small Business Camp, as well as he manages and directs the “Author’s Pavillion” for the Bronner Bros International Hair & Beauty Show in Atlanta.
